Meditation on love

After a series of rejections and setbacks, it's easy to feel like I've forgotten what it feels like to love and be loved. But that feeling of love isn't gone, it just needs to be remembered.

We can meditate on that feeling to bring it back.

Think of a moment when you were doing an act of love. It could be an ex-lover, an old friend, even someone you had just met. For me, it's listening to G.
It's talking with C about nothing and everything.
It's holding M's hand as we walk in quiet understanding.
It's looking into E's eyes and feeling seen.
It's meeting S for the first time and knowing instantly that they're special.

The feeling of love, for me, is that warmth I get when I think about those moments. It's having something to live for, something to care for, and something to work toward. It's the relief of knowing I've made it, even if just for a moment.

Close your eyes. Hold that feeling. Let it settle in your chest. Breathe it in, and make space for it.

You have loved before, and you will love again.
